Welcome To The

Communion of the Convergence Anglican Church

Welcome

Thank you for your interest in the Communion of the Convergence Anglican Church. While we are still a relatively young communion, we are committed to being an active and productive part of the community.

All are welcome to be a part of our fellowship. Whatever your background and experience in local churches, you will probably find some similarities in the Convergence Anglican Church.

Yes, our worship may be a little different, but we believe you will find this difference refreshing and spiritually uplifting.  We also believe you will experience the Lord in our services and His love in our people.

Please take time to look around our website and if you have any questions or comments, we would love to hear from you.

Our worship has a liturgical base

The liturgies begun in the early church provide a consistency with true apostolic and Biblical faith. We use the service of the Anglican tradition through the Book of Common Prayer.

Our teaching has a biblical base

The Word of God is at the center of all our preaching and practice. We affirm the Holy Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments containing everything that is necessary for salvation.

Our ministry has a spiritual base

The power and work of the Holy Spirit underline the activity of ministry one to another, in the life of the church, and in our outreach to the world around us.

Our fellowship has a family base

More than a church, we desire to become a spiritual family, where we enjoy living out our Christian faith together.

What's in a Name?

The name of our Communion is the Communion of the Convergence Anglican Church.

Convergence

First, we are a Convergence Church. That means we are fully sacramental/liturgical, fully evangelical/Bible believing, and fully Charismatic/Spirit-filled.

Anglican

Second, we are Anglican. The simple meaning for Anglican is "of relating to England". We are Christians who have an English liturgical and theological heritage and a spiritual heritage and an ancestral connection to the Church in England.

Church

Third, we are the Church. We are part of the one, holy, catholic, and apostolic church. We do not believe that we are the only church. We are a part of the whole.
