About Us

Our Mission

Our mission is to blend the rich sacramental and liturgical heritage of the early church, the power of Pentecost, and the infallible truths of Scripture into one expression of Christ's Church for this generation and the ones to follow; to provide a home for all Christ-follwers who seek a vital, powerful, energetic, and yet stable church in which they may grow in love with one another and in the knowledge and love of God. We are called to be outward focused, reaching the unchurched, unconverted, and those who have left the church. We are called to train and release all Christ-followers into their calling.

Our Priorities

Worship

Worship is the highest priority of the church. We believe worship is an act toward God, rather than a time for receiving. Through liturgical forms we desire to blend structure and spontaneity, providing a context for “worship in spirit and truth.”

Fellowship

Through our small care groups, we gather weekly to care, share, and bear one another’s burdens, and grow in our love and knowledge of the Lord together.

Ministry

Members of Christ's Body are called to serve. We have opportunities to minister to the homeless and poor, as well as find involvement for men’s, women’s, youth, and children’s ministries.

Teaching

We believe in teaching and training our members through the pulpit and special learning opportunities. We also offer other scheduled courses of study and equipping.

Mission

As a part of God’s one, holy, catholic, and apostolic Church, the CCAC is involved in world missions and church planting. We support both home and foreign missions.

Our Core Values

We Value Convergence Worship

We are committed to Convergence Worship. We are fully liturgical/sacramental, fully Evangelical, and fully Charismatic/Spirit-filled. One stream cannot overshadow one of the other streams - there must be a balance of all three.

We Value Authenticity – People Are To Be Real

We believe that of all people, Christ-Followers should be real. We are committed to learning to be honest and real with others and ourselves. We believe that being "super spiritual" is not a godly trait and should be avoided.

We Value Generosity – Givers Instead Of Takers

We believe that Jesus spoke of the importance of money frequently. About 80% of his parables centered around the need for all of us to have a proper perspective about this area of life. As a church and as individuals, we freely give, not out of obligation or guilt or law, but out of excitement, joy and enthusiasm, in order to extend the love of God to others.

We Value Relevance – Although Our Methods Will Change, Our Message Will Not

We believe the Bible is the most exciting book ever written and we seek to share its Good News in relevant environments for all ages.

We Value People – People Matter To God

We believe people matter to God and therefore they matter to us. God demonstrated the high value He places on people when He gave his very best, his Son, to provide the gift of salvation. Our assignment is to get the message of this Good News to people so we can help them establish a growing relationship with Jesus Christ and equip them to change their world. We value Pastoral Care as foundational to the work of the Church.

We Value An Outward Focused Lifestyle – Our Mission Is To Those Outside The Four Walls Of The Church

We believe that as Jesus said, the world is the field. We are called not to hide behind the walls of our church buildings but to go out into the marketplace and present the Good News of Jesus in simple, practical ways. It is not about the words we say but about the deeds of love we do.

We Value Service – Every Member Is A Minister

We believe God has equipped every Christ-Follower with gifts and passions so they can become difference makers for Jesus Christ. We encourage everyone to use and develop their gifts and talents in service to our churches, community, and the world. While you may not have a vocation of full time ministry, we all have a ministry to fulfill.
